Former local prep high-school baseball star, Skyler is now suiting up for America's team, the U.S. Army.  Skyler graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 2014.  He received a baseball scholarship to attend Division II program, Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina.  Skyler graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2018 with a 3.75 GPA in Sports Management.  A consummate team player, chose to join the U.S. Army, September 2018.  He started his basic training for the U.S. Army on a Special Forces Contract.  Upon graduating from basic training in mid January 2019, Skyler recently completed Airborne Training.   He is now presently stationed at Ft. Bragg, Fayetville, NC, home of Special Operations.

Sykler was a member of the Santa Barbara Grizzlies baseball program from its inception. He was an integral part of the 2012 Grizzlies Collegiate team, as the teams catcher. His versatility found him helping the team in the infield and closing games on the mound.  Skyler also spent time coaching both Grizzlies youth and high school programs in his free time.  The Santa Barbara Grizzlies are proud of Skyler Sabado and wish him continued success as he represents the USA.
